6th December---My Views

6th December 1992.........I was in class 6th when this day appeared in a Gregorian calendar. The date which still gives bread & butter to many and still finds place in leading news papers.Reading newspaper was my childhood habit and I used to wait eagerly for a news paper early in the morning. This was my source of knowing what happening around me apart from watching "Samachar" on Doordarshan at 8:30 PM on our black & White Salora TV along with my father.News about Ayodhya was a big news during those days and my neighbors used to talk lots about it. First time I was witnessing involvement of peoples in such large scale from all caste/breed and especially from all regions of this nation. Perhaps after "1942-quit India movement", it was largest movement of peoples for a cause which was not personal at all. Peoples were struggling to built a temple in Ayodhya which comes in Uttar Pradesh judicially but peoples who were participating, were from Maharhastra, west Bengal and even from Tamilnadu and Karnataka. Even temple was not going to be in any of these states, and then what was the force behind these peoples whom we know as “Karsevaks”.For what they were coming to Aydhoya and for which they are not going be paid in whatsoever manner? They definitely not were lured by any group! What do all these signifies??????Does it not appear as a national movement which mobilize so large group of peoples across the nation for which they were volunteer and no personal cause was related in any sense. If so, why a section of peoples describe this a black day or they feel shame on this day??Is it not disrespect for the sentiments of peoples who were self-less while coming for karsewa.Demanding for construction a temple of Lord Rama, which was destructed by a foreign invader, Meer Banki on the instruction of Babar is a genuine demand. If someone forcefully destroys one’s house, he gets judiciary protection. Then what’s wrong if large section of peoples of this nation, who have proud on being born as Indian, demand the same.
Its a victory day for all the peoples who have proud on being Indian.
